Vivid Atelier

I think it is really interesting that I imagine all these women I’ve been painting lately to be introverts of a sort. They aren’t wallflowers in social situations, but they enjoy the company of their own thoughts just as much.

I suspect that they may be a cross between biography and story telling but how much is bio and how much is tale is up to you to decide.

This is how I describe Thea in my etsy shop:

In her sheath dress, I imagine that Thea is walking barefoot down an isolated stretch of beach, the breeze swirling around her. For her being alone isn’t necessarily loneliness, but more a chance to enjoy her own space.
