Construct Tutorial: Part Four

Hello again!

I hope you are having fun with this process and letting yourself open up to mistakes and trying new things. After all, the worst that can happen is that it won’t work.

I’m sorry that the photo quality isn’t the greatest, I was travelling when I took these photos, so my tablet camera was the best I could do.

I was really stuck on what to do next for this day.

So I found myself doing what I often do, when I’m stuck. I went back to basics. Even though I’m a painter, I spent three times more time in art school in drawing classes than painting classes. It was just the way things worked out, but I think it serves me.

I looked for interesting shapes and started doodling, and then related each block of doodles to the next part until I began to see a butterfly and flower shape.

Your challenge: should you choose to accept it… doodle recklessly.

Then add some washi tape or something!
